School Curriculum
During the morning, the whole school teaches the Literacy Hour and the
Numeracy lesson in sets appropriate to the child's level of ability. All other
subjects, such as History or Art, are taught in the afternoon when children
go back to their class teacher. Although these are mixed ability classes, the
work is set tailored to the different levels of ability found in each class.

Arts
At Grange Junior school we make every effort to provide a range of cultural
experiences and opportunities. Children are encouraged to join Arts related
out of school activity clubs such as CAST and the school choir.

Religious Education
Grange Junior School is not affiliated to any particular religious
denominations. We have a daily act of collective worship, and each class is
taught RE for approximately 60 minutes. The content of this is
non-denominational and broadly Christian in nature.

Sex Education
Grange Junior School's Sex Education policy is available in the school's office
for any parent who wishes to read it.
